English or spanish movies?

Today I realized the benefits of watching movies in Spanish than in English, it is true that neither the translation and subtitles are good, but the subtitles are sometimes a little bit better, because they mean sometimes the same. For example, in the first part of the movie X-Men the character "Wolverine" in Spanish is referred to as "Lobezno", and that causes the person who sees the film loses the interest it. Another example is the movie Ironman, I began to compare it in both languages because, in the beginning of the film in Spanish, I did not understand anything about the speech that Tony Stark gives, when I changed the film into English I could totally understand the speech. This does not mean that I have mastered the language completely, but I can notice the advantages in seeing movies in one language than another. An example of this is the movie Shrek, I have no doubt that Eddie Murphy's jokes are good but I can not understand them, I can not get the point, which is why I prefer the film in Spanish, with Eugenio Derbez in the voice of "The Donkey" because I can understand those jokes, probably because they are refered in things that happen in Mexico, but it is only about a preference.
